1. About Boston Intellectuals League

Boston Intellectuals League is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 93-4541075) dedicated to empowering talented students from diverse backgrounds through inclusive academic competitions — including chess, mathematics, AI, science, engineering, and debate — with an annual Finale held at Harvard University, Cambridge, MA.

2. Eligibility and Permitted Use

• You are at least 13 years of age, or accessing the Site under parental/guardian supervision
• You will use the Site only for lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms
• You will not misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation
• You will not attempt to disrupt or interfere with the Site's operation

3. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and competition materials — is the property of Boston Intellectuals League and protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

4. Competition Registration

Registration is subject to separate program rules posted on event pages. Registration fees are non-refundable unless an event is cancelled by Boston Intellectuals League. We reserve the right to disqualify participants who violate competition rules or the spirit of fair play.

5. Donations

Boston Intellectuals League is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization (EIN: 93-4541075). Donations are processed securely via Stripe and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. A receipt will be provided for all donations.

6. User-Submitted Content

If you submit any content to us (e.g., project abstracts, competition entries, contact form messages), you grant Boston Intellectuals League a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use and display such content in connection with our programs and mission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Boston Intellectuals League and its officers, directors, employees, and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or participation in our programs.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
